Good news for Zingst gourmets: the weekly coastal barbecue at Strandhotel Zingst will continue on 8 October 2022 in the autumn/winter edition.

On 8 October 2022, the live cooking event "Von Wellen und Weiden" will take place every Saturday from 6 p.m. in the Nautica restaurant at Strandhotel Zingst. In buffet form, guests can choose between fallow deer carpaccio with fennel-orange chutney, home-smoked coastal fish with salt lemon, Darss game stew from the Dutch oven, crusted roast, roasted pike-perch fillet on creamed savoy cabbage, roast beef or ox cheeks braised in Merlot. The kitchen team at Restaurant Nautica also shows its usual culinary creativity when it comes to side dishes, for example with pear and bean vegetables, black Venere rice, vanilla carrots or pasta from the Parmesan loaf. The gourmet adventure is rounded off with pumpkin pie, Zingster berry jelly or handmade ice cream. Please book in advance due to high demand.

Regionality remains the top priority

Chef Maik Gültzow and his team create another culinary highlight for the Fischland-Darß-Zingst region with the live cooking buffet. With "Of Waves and Willows", he continues the success of the summer coastal barbecue with regional fish and meat offerings from the grill in a unique way. Every week, up to 100 guests enjoy the regional selection of Pomeranian prime beef brisket and reverse-cooked salmon fillet.
