The fresh wind is getting stronger. So now "the big ones" are moving in. The Strandhotel Zingst is now ready for "real" construction workers and for the rough. The pool in the spa is empty. Packed and stored what is needed again. And this is how they can move in... And we continue to write a piece of history. Speaking of history. Wasn't 2023 an exciting year? We were not only allowed to tell our stories, but also published them. In our very own travel guide "Zingstliebe". With a beach chair reading by the Berlin author Judith Poznan, we were able to tell our stories in the summer. And now "Zingstliebe" can not only be ordered online in stores, but is also available to our OYSTER Club members as a small surprise in the room as a welcome gift. And this will probably not be the last edition. 2023 was a year full of highlights that we would like to continue to tell. For example, that our kitchen team around Maik Gültzow won this year's Zingster Soup Hike. How delicious it was, our carrot and mango soup with ginger cream and speculoos crumb butter. Or hasn't our weekly coastal BBQ become a permanent culinary institution?
And how fondly we remember the last crane rest and deer rut. Because with our new Leica Trinovid 8x42 HD binoculars, which have a large exit pupil, you can observe the natural spectacles calmly. We are very pleased that we will continue to offer the binoculars for our guests to rent in the future. E.g. also for the next regular guest week? This year, we will once again provide our regular guests with unique moments in Zingst. From sushi courses to breathing exercises, we had an exciting program and are thinking of special highlights again this year.
