The Strandhotel Zingst has now been awarded the second-highest level of the "GreenSign" certificate as a sustainable hotel. This makes the hotel on the Darß only the second in the region to harmonise entrepreneurial action, ecological demands, social commitment and economic success in a special way according to the demanding criteria of the "GreenSign" institute.
"When it comes to sustainability, we want to plan and act in such a way that the available resources on our planet will be available to future generations in the same quantity and quality as they are to us. We want to be a trusted and reliable host for our guests, employees and partners, one that continues to impress, surprise and inspire with its quality and creativity," explains Hotel Director Kai Harmsen, who would like to see even more people join in, as there are only 16 certified hotels in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
